We're partnering with a Radiology company on a high-paying specialty imaging opportunity. Seeking an experienced PET/CT Technologist for a flexible 2-day-per-week schedule. Earn $70-$80/hr on a 13-week assignment, with extensions likely with a respected imaging leader.
We are seeking an experienced PET/CT Technologist to support a leading outpatient imaging facility in Des Moines, Iowa. This is a unique opportunity to work with a well-established imaging provider on a flexible, part-time schedule while earning highly competitive compensation.
The ideal candidate will have experience performing both PET and CT imaging procedures, demonstrate exceptional patient care skills, and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform PET and CT imaging examinations according to established protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents as required
- Ensure accurate image acquisition and quality control standards
- Maintain compliance with radiation safety regulations and facility policies
- Document procedures and patient information accurately
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to support quality patient outcomes
- Maintain equipment operation and report any technical concerns
Qualifications
Required
- ARRT Certification in Radiography
- Nuclear Medicine Certification (ARRT(N) or CNMT)
- PET/CT experience
- Active Iowa license, if required by state regulations
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent PET/CT experience
Preferred
- Outpatient imaging experience
- Experience working independently in specialty imaging settings
- Strong patient care and communication skills
