Travel RN – PCU / Telemetry (Stepdown) – Nights (7p–7a)
Location: Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center (A Duke LifePoint Hospital) — 1086 Franklin Street, Johnstown, PA 15905
Contract: 13 weeks | 36 hrs/week | Every other weekend | No call
Shift: Nights 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (candidates must be flexible to work varied shift times if needed)
Interview: Required
Unit: Tele/PCU (Cardiac) | Charting: EPIC | Ratio: RN 1:5
Patient population: Adult/geriatric cardiac (CP, MI, open heart, Watchman, TAVR, post-op cardiac cath, post-op pacer)
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in a high-acuity PCU/Tele setting
- Telemetry monitoring; identify rhythm changes and escalate appropriately
- Manage/monitor cardiac patients post procedures and surgeries
- Work with specialized equipment including pacers and A-lines
Requirements:
- Active RN license (PA or Compact)
- BLS required
- Cardiac Cath experience required (must have prior to start)
- 2+ years recent PCU/Telemetry/Stepdown RN experience
- Must live 60+ miles from facility for travel eligibility
- Ability to complete PA clearances prior to start (Child Abuse, PATCH, FBI/DHS fingerprinting)
