Job Details
- Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist – Long-Term Care (LTC)
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Experience: LTC experience required
- Local Candidates: Accepted; local rate applies within 75 miles
- Travel Radius: 75-mile rule applies
- EMR: EPIC/EMR experience required
Requirements
- Current New York State Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Eligible for or holds ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Strong communication skills with patients, medical staff, and facility staff
- Strong assessment skills with the ability to determine patient prognosis and develop appropriate treatment goals
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and EPIC/EMR
- Knowledge of the PDPM reimbursement system
