Position: OR / Surgical Technologist
Shift: PM – 4×10-hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Rotating shifts: Days, Evenings, and Nights
• No block scheduling
• Weekends required
• Call required, including weekday and/or weekend call
• May have up to 3 weekend call shifts within 6 weeks
• Weekend call:
  • Saturday: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM (24 hours)
  • Sunday: 7:00 AM–11:00 PM (16 hours)
• May have additional Friday night shifts
• Call response time: 30 minutes
• In-house call rooms available

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years OR experience within the last 3 years
  • Hiring manager strongly prefers 3 years
• Level I Trauma experience: minimum 1 year within the last 3 years
• Travel experience: minimum 1 year within the last 3 years
• Previous regular employees are not eligible

Required Clinical Skills

Candidate must be strong/proficient/expert in:

• General Surgery
• Orthopedics – Total Joints required
• Neuro – Craniotomy & Spine required
• Vascular
• Trauma
• Robotics – Da Vinci
  • Must have cardiac robotic experience
  • Must be able to move robotic arms and drape
• Transplant – preferred, not a hard stop

Key Must-Haves

OR + Level I Trauma + 1 year recent travel + Total Joints + Crani/Spine + Da Vinci cardiac robotics.

Important: The candidate must be able to take rotating shifts, weekends, and call with a 30-minute response time.
