Description
RN – Med/Surg | Albany, GA
Facility: Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital
Location: Albany, GA
Facility Size: 483-bed Main Campus
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 12H Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hrs/week
Weekend: Every other weekend
Call: Low-census call
Float: Required
Radius Rule: Strict 75-mile radius; driver’s license address required at submission
Requirements:
- 1+ year experience + 1 previous travel assignment
- BLS (AHA) & NIHSS – REQUIRED
- Meditech experience
- Charge Nurse experience
- Must be flexible with changing assignments during the shift
- BSN not required
Unit Details:
- Patient Ratio: 1:6
- CNA ratio generally 1:8–1:10; 1:1 sitters as needed
- EHR: Meditech
- Telemetry available
- Equipment: BiPAP, CPAP, Vapotherm, Draeger vents
- PICC team 24/7
- Pharmacy 24/7
- Floating/orientation provided by floor
Float: Med/Surg → Ortho/Neuro, Oncology, Acute Care & JFW
Scrubs: Caribbean Blue
Holidays: Rotate with permanent staff
Cancellation: 12 hours every 2 weeks
