Position: RN – Cardiovascular / CV Service Line
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
Schedule: 12-hour nights, Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week
Contract: 6 weeks
Facility Type: Acute Care
Trauma Level: Level II
EMR: Epic (transitioning to Epic in 11/2026)
Experience Requirements
- Strong cardiac experience is a MUST
- Experience in a high-acuity CV service line required
- Extremely busy and fast-paced environment
- Handles everything except transplants
- Highest acuity cardiovascular service line in the area
Required Certifications
- BLS – AHA
- ACLS
- NIHSS
Schedule
- 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- 48 guaranteed hours/week
Cancellation
- Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
- For assignments under 13 weeks: up to 3 shifts
Must-Haves
Strong cardiac/CV experience + high-acuity acute-care experience + BLS AHA + ACLS + NIHSS + ability to work 12-hour nights and EOW.
Best candidate: RN with strong high-acuity cardiac/CV experience who is comfortable in a very busy cardiovascular service line and caring for complex cardiac patients.
