Unit Specifics:

·         Scrub Color(s): any

·         Number of Beds : 24

·         Patient Ratios : workflow is one patient per hour

·         Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Critical Care access hospital, with predominantly swing bed patients.  Rehab focused.  On average there are 2 CNAs per shift, and rehab has a tech 20 hours per week.

·         Type of equipment: All lift equipment is available, large rehab gym with different pieces of equipment

·         Documentation system: Cerner

·         Scheduling requirements: set schedule of Monday-Friday (8:00- 4:30)

·         Floating policy: will float to Eckerd Living Center if needed (which is in the same building).  Primary location will be Highlands-Cashiers Hospital

·         Patient Experience requirements: Prefer 1 year of experience at minimum

·         Certifications: BLS required

Hiring profile

Requested Skill Set:

Must have: ability to evaluate and treat patient admitted to the hospital with a strong rehab mindset.  Focus is on treatment (vs. eval only).

Advanced skills needed: none

Procedures performed on unit:  comprehensive OT evaluations and treatments.

Certifications Required: standard OT state license and BLS
