Position Overview:

Sam Hider Health Center is seeking a Level 3 Radiology – Ultrasound Technologist to provide diagnostic ultrasound services in an outpatient healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain examinations, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment while following appropriate imaging and safety protocols.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by the appropriate provider.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of examinations and patient information.
• If appropriately certified, the technologist may also perform echocardiograms based on facility needs.

Requirements:

• Qualified and experienced Ultrasound Technologist.
• Ability to independently perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures.
• Appropriate certification/credentials required for ultrasound.
• Echocardiography certification/experience is a plus and may allow the technologist to perform echocardiograms as well.
• Strong patient-care, communication, and documentation skills.
