Local Interventional Radiology Tech | $75-80 hourly| 40 hours/week

Job Details:
Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technician
Facility: St. Peter’s Hospital
Location: Albany, New York
Schedule: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | Day Shift | Monday–Friday
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Dates: October 11, 2026 – January 9, 2027

Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly
Orientation Pay: Please note that the pay schedule is bi-weekly and during the orientation, you will be paid 50% of your pay rate.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform and assist with a variety of Interventional Radiology procedures at St. Peter’s Hospital. The ideal candidate should have strong IR experience and be comfortable assisting with procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications/Initial Requirements
✓ Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience.
✓ Active ARRT certification.
✓ Active New York State license, including injection license.
✓ Experience performing or assisting with CT/Ultrasound-guided biopsies.
✓ Experience with embolizations and port placements.
✓ Experience with IVC filters and PCN catheter placements/exchanges.
✓ Experience assisting with chest tubes, paracentesis, and thoracentesis.
