Description
Title: Registered Nurse – Operating Room
Location: Midland, TX 79701
Shift: Days, 5x8 — 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, Monday–Friday
Duration: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; PALS preferred
- Cerner experience preferred
- Travel experience not required if the candidate has the required skills
- Experience in General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Trauma, and ENT cases
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Experience with Universal Protocol/Time-Out, infection control, specimen handling, blood products, and peripheral IVs
- Experience with robotic surgery, laparoscopic procedures, and surgical equipment
Description:
- Provide perioperative nursing care across General, Orthopedic, Neurological, Trauma, ENT, Urology, Vascular, Gynecology, and Pediatric surgical procedures.
- Support complex cases including craniotomy, spinal fusion, laminectomy/discectomy, trauma cases, joint replacement, vascular procedures, colorectal and gynecologic surgery, and robotic procedures.
- Maintain patient safety through infection control, Universal Protocol/Time-Out, specimen handling, blood product administration, IV management, and safe use of surgical equipment.
