Description
Position Summary
Seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech, language, communication, and swallowing services in a school-based setting.
Responsibilities include:
• Screen, evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized IEPs and measurable goals
• Provide speech therapy and support for pediatric communication and cognitive needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in IEP meetings, treatment planning, and discharge planning
• Provide education and training to families, caregivers, and staff
• Complete required documentation and billing
• Supervise Speech Therapy Assistants, CFYs, interns, and students as needed
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and professional regulations
Requirements
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current active state SLP license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship strongly preferred
