Description
ICU Registered Nurse | Sioux City
Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM | Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekend: Every 3rd weekend
On-Call: None
Floating: May float within the same discipline across local campuses
EMR: EPIC
Position Summary:
Provides professional and clinical nursing care as part of the interdisciplinary team. Responsible for the provision and management of care for a diverse ICU population.
Patient Population:
- Cardiac
- Trauma
- Neuro
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience required
- ICU experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- TNCC preferred; required if extending
- Active Iowa RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA preferred) required
- ICU-specific skills checklist required
- One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required
- Driver's license required
- Taxable address must be at least 50 miles from the facility
Holiday Requirement:
Travelers must work 2 of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day. Only one day-off request is permitted between 11/25–11/29 and 12/23–12/27.
