Providence St. Joseph Health is seeking 2 Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners for long-term locum coverage in an outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic in Eureka, California. Providers who can commit to 2 weeks per month or more will be considered, with a preference for full-time coverage.

• Guaranteed Hours: 8 hours/day
• Overtime: After 9 hours/day, with pre-approval
• Call: None
• Patient Volume: 12–14 patients/day
• EMR: Epic
• Credentialing: Approximately 60 days

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient Hematology/Oncology care
• Evaluate and manage adult oncology and hematology patients
• Conduct follow-up and established patient visits
• Develop and manage treatment plans
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other members of the oncology team
• Provide ongoing patient management in the clinic
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic

Qualifications & Requirements

• PA or NP required
• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
• Active California license required
• DEA required
• BLS required
• Outpatient Hematology/Oncology experience preferred
• Current CV required for submission
• Must meet hospital privileging requirements
