Description

RN NICU | Nights | Bakersfield, CA

Schedule: 36 or 48 hours/week
Contract: 13 weeks
EMR: EPIC
Holiday RTO: Not approved
Location: Bakersfield, CA

Requirements:

  • Active California RN license
  • EPIC experience required
  • Acute care experience preferred
  • BLS/CPR required
  • AHA NRP or ARC NALS required
  • S.T.A.B.L.E. certification required
  • BSN preferred

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide coordinated nursing care using the nursing process.
  • Assess patients, identify care needs, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes.
  • Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare disciplines.
  • Provide education to patients, families, and team members.
  • Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care.
  • Appropriately delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members.
