Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby
Location: Neptune, NJ
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night – 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, 3x12s
Start Date: November 2, 2026

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to Mother Baby patients in accordance with established standards of care.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments and identify individual patient needs.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions based on patient needs and clinical priorities.
• Provide Mother Baby couplet care.
• Monitor and manage patient care throughout the assigned shift.
• Document patient care accurately and in accordance with nursing standards.
• Assist physicians with patient care as required.
• Provide patient-centered care while maintaining professional nursing standards.
• Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and support innovations in care delivery.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of Mother Baby nursing experience required.
• Experience with Mother Baby couplet care required.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active NJ RN license or multistate compact RN license.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• NRP certification required.
• AWHONN-Advanced or C-EFM certification required for HMH facilities except JSUMC.

Schedule

• 3x12-hour night shifts
• 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
