Travel RN – Emergency Department
Location: Richmond, VA
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Requirements
- 1+ year RN experience
- Recent Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred
- Current RN license in Virginia or Compact
- BLS required
- ACLS & PALS preferred; required within 6 months
- TNCC & NRP preferred
- EPIC experience/training preferred
- BSN preferred
Position Overview
- Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment.
- Care for patients across the lifespan, from non-urgent conditions to life-threatening emergencies.
- Perform assessment, triage, stabilization, treatment, medication administration and care coordination.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, EMS, law enforcement and other agencies.
- Provide trauma, pediatric, medical, mental health and critical emergency care.
- Support patient safety, quality improvement and evidence-based nursing practice.
