Respiratory Therapist – CRT
Unit: Respiratory Therapy
Location: Lawton, OK
Start Date: 10/27/2026

Weekend: Rotation Required
Call: Rotation Required
Requirements:
- 2+ years of RRT experience – REQUIRED
- NICU experience – REQUIRED
- Active Oklahoma Respiratory Therapy License – REQUIRED
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy – REQUIRED
- College diploma or official transcript – REQUIRED
- First-time travelers NOT accepted
- Blocked scheduling NOT accommodated
- Must be available for required weekend and call rotations
- Compliance must be completed 1 week prior to start
Required Certifications:
- BLS – AHA
- ACLS – AHA
- PALS – AHA
- NRP
Certifications are required for the position, although the facility may review candidates who do not currently have active copies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care under the supervision of the RT Supervisor and Cardiopulmonary Manager.
- Provide patient care in critical care areas.
- Must have experience caring for:
- Adult patients
- Pediatric patients
- Neonatal patients
- Assist with training RT personnel in critical care areas.
Scheduling:
- 12-hour day shifts
- Weekend rotation required
- Call rotation required
- No blocked scheduling
- Facility will not accept first-time travelers.

- Active OK license documentation
- College diploma/official transcript
- Required credentials/certifications
Important Facility Policies
- Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at 11% below the travel rate.
- No increased rate for OT, Holiday, or Call-Back.
- Allied/therapy travelers begin orientation on Tuesdays.
- Compliance is due one week before start.
- Facility will not approve rate increases at the time of extension.
Key Screening Points:
2+ years RRT + NICU experience + Active OK License + Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy + BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP + previous travel experience.
