Schedule

• Combination of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts
• Example shifts:

• Orientation: 8 hours

Requirements

• 3+ years experience
• BLS required
• EPIC experience required
• Circulating & Scrubbing experience required
• Must be highly proficient in:
  • Robotic Surgery
  • Neurosurgery
  • Thoracic Surgery
  • ENT

Candidate must have experience in ALL 4:

• ENT
• Neuro
• Thoracic
• Robotics

Required Surgical Experience

Experience in multiple services, including:

• ENT / Plastics – Flaps & Microvascular
• Endoscopy – Bronch / EGD / EBUS
• Neuro – Craniotomy / EEA / Skull Base
• Thoracic
• Robotics
• Surgical Oncology
• Colorectal
• Urology
• GYN Oncology
• Orthopedics
• Plastics / Reconstruction

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care
• Circulate and scrub surgical cases
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC
• Collaborate with the surgical team
• Scrub a variety of complex surgical services
• Support robotic, neuro, thoracic, ENT, plastics, colorectal, urology, GYN, and orthopedic procedures

Compliance / Submission Requirements

• Compact or state RN license in hand at submission
• 2 professional references
  • 1 must be from a Manager/Director/Supervisor
  • Charge RN acceptable for the 2nd
  • No coworker references
• RTO required at submission and must be built into the contract
• Flu vaccine required — medical exemptions only
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Ohio fingerprinting must be completed immediately after booking
• Strict compliance deadline: Tuesday before start
• Only 1 OSU location can be submitted at a time
• Current OSU employees are not eligible for traveler positions
• Former OSU employees must be away from the facility for 6+ months
