Facility:  Select Specialty Hospital – Ann Arbor

Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights – 3×12s
Weekend: Every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide intensive respiratory care and patient transport.
• Manage invasive/non-invasive ventilation, oxygen therapy, nebulizers and respiratory treatments.
• Perform suctioning, chest physiotherapy, tracheostomy care and arterial punctures.
• Monitor oximetry, capnography and ventilator settings.
• Perform EKGs, pulmonary function studies and basic arrhythmia recognition.
• Assist with bronchoscopy, tracheostomy, chest tube and other respiratory procedures.
• Perform airway management, including intubation and extubation.
• Maintain and operate mechanical ventilators.
• Perform BLS/ACLS interventions and CPR.
• Document treatments, patient responses and charges accurately.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and the healthcare team.
