Concord, NC – Travel MRI Technologist Opportunity | 12-Hour Weekend Days

Responsibilities & Scope
- Perform MRI examinations for ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient populations.
- Review imaging orders and verify exam requests, consulting with the Radiologist or ordering provider when clarification is needed.
- Properly identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures before imaging.
- Review patient medical history and EMR documentation to obtain pertinent clinical information.
- Prepare and administer IV contrast according to established protocols.
- Perform MRI procedures from patient preparation through completion of the examination.
- Evaluate image quality and consult with the Radiologist as needed.
- Provide basic patient care and communicate changes in patient condition to appropriate nursing personnel.
- Perform procedures in accordance with infection control, isolation, and bloodborne pathogen policies.
- Perform cardiac and pediatric imaging, including pediatric studies with and without anesthesia.
- Handle imaging for a diverse patient population, including patients with medical devices.

- MRI: Siemens 3T Skyra
- EMR: Epic
- RIS: Epic Radiant
- PACS: Philips iSite
Must-Have Credentials
- ARRT(R) or NMTCB
- ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
- BLS
- North Carolina state licensure is not required
- Minimum 1 year of MRI experience
Additional Details
- No call or callback requirements
- No floating
- Orientation includes administrative onboarding plus departmental training as needed
- Traveler's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the work location
- RTO requires manager approval
- Schedule cycles every 4 weeks
