- Hours: 36 hours/week
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend
- Call: None
- Holiday Requirement: Travelers will work 75% of holidays
- Interview: SimpliFi Clinical Interview
- Experience: 2+ years of Respiratory Therapy
- First-Time Travelers: Welcome
- Floating: Required within Region 2
- Scrubs: Royal Blue
- Parking: Free
Responsibilities & Scope
- Provide respiratory care across adult care and NICU settings.
- Support patients in critical care, CVICU, NICU, ED, progressive care, and general floor therapy areas.
- Perform respiratory assessments and treatments within scope of practice.
- Work with a wide range of respiratory equipment and ventilatory support systems.
- Collaborate with Respiratory Care leadership and department staff to provide quality patient care.
- Maintain adherence to department standards, policies, and teamwork expectations.

- Servo ventilators, including I, U, and Airs
- Trilogy
- ResMed AirCurve
- HiFlow
- Airvo
- NOxBox
- Bubble CPAP
Must-Have Credentials
- RRT or CRT
- North Carolina Respiratory Therapy licensure
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NRP
- Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
Floating Requirements
Travelers must be agreeable to floating throughout Region 2 based on operational needs. Potential locations include:
- Pineville
- Anson
- Union
- Union West
- Freestanding EDs within the region
- Central Division locations
Travelers may also be assigned to pediatric services as needed within their scope of practice.
If a traveler floats mid-shift, travel time between facilities is paid and the traveler remains on the clock.
The traveler's permanent address must be at least 50 miles outside the home unit.
