Job Breakdown – Imaging Support / Vascular IR Tech

• Position: Imaging Support Tech – Vascular IR / Hybrid OR
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Start: Open to later start dates
• Schedule: 5×8s or 4×10s, around 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• Call: Every 4th week
• Radius: 50-mile rule applies
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Offer Process: Clinical review + auto offer; manager makes offer after clinical approval
• COVID: Not required
• Flu: Required, no exemptions

Must-Have Requirements

• 2+ years experience
• ARRT VI
• BLS
• VA license — pending license accepted, but must be active by the Wednesday before start
• Epic experience required
• Strong vascular/IR experience
• Hybrid OR experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and participate throughout the entire procedure

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare inventory and cases in Epic
• Operate the imaging table and controls
• Perform 3D spins and fusion imaging
• Capture and post-process images during procedures
• Document inventory using HI-IQ
• Work closely with vascular surgeons and OR staff
• Assist with C-arm imaging for surgical cases during downtime

Important Compliance

• RTO: Maximum 40 hours per 13-week contract; must be submitted upfront
• Nursys verification required
• References required
• Certifications must be provided
• Locals are not accepted for Imaging Support
• Pending VA license must be in hand by the Wednesday before start
• Flu vaccine is mandatory with no exemptions
• Previous UVA employment must be disclosed
• UVA external travelers cannot exceed 365 total assignment days.
