Requirements:
Active Massachusetts LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC license/licensure eligibility required
Clinical Master's Degree required
Minimum 3 years of experience required
Prior inpatient behavioral health, short-term treatment, or acute care experience preferred
Advanced knowledge of behavioral health treatment and family systems modalities
Experience with psychiatric patients and risk/safety assessments
Strong knowledge of community resources and post-discharge support systems
Strong computer and Electronic Health Record skills required
CANS Certification required within 30 days of hire
EPIC experience preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Ability to work effectively in an acute inpatient behavioral health setting
Must be willing to float to similar or lower-acuity units as needed

Responsibilities:
Provide clinical social work services to patients, families, and legal guardians
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning
Provide individual and family therapy
Provide case management and systems interventions
Develop, implement, and document appropriate treatment goals and interventions
Coordinate comprehensive discharge planning and aftercare services
Assist with insurance utilization review
Coordinate care with hospitals, community agencies, programs, and outside providers
Provide liaison services to patients, families, guardians, and community resources
Perform risk and safety assessments
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, nursing staff, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team
Support patients with psychiatric illnesses using appropriate clinical and family system interventions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EPIC medical record
Assist patients and families in accessing appropriate community resources and services
Follow facility policies, professional standards, and applicable regulations
Float to similar or lower-acuity units when required
Provide other duties as assigned
