Interventional Radiology Technologist – Days

Facility: Ohio State University
Locations: OSU East & OSU Dublin
Shift: 07:30–16:30
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8
Contract: 91 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• ARRT
• State license
• Experience with Siemens Artis Pheno
• Fluoroscopy experience
• Cardiology experience
• Experience in at least one of the following:
  • Neuro
  • Vascular
  • Interventional Radiology
• Must be willing to work at both OSU East and OSU Dublin
• 2 professional references required:
  • At least 1 must be from a manager, director, supervisor, or other formal leader
  • Charge RN acceptable as the second reference
  • Coworker references not accepted

Preferred Qualifications

• EPIC experience
• Hybrid OR experience
• Vascular Surgery experience
• Previous Charge/Lead experience
• Community Hospital experience

Unit Details

• 2 rooms
• Adult patients
• Vascular/endovascular procedures in a Hybrid OR setting
• Also performs Cardiac Cath, EP, IR, and diagnostic Neuro procedures
• Support includes IV Team, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response, Transportation, and Unit Secretary
• Equipment: Siemens Artis Pheno

Schedule & Compliance

• Possible call depending on skill set
• Weekend coverage: every 4th weekend if required
• RTO must be submitted upfront and built into the contract
• Must be willing to travel between OSU East and OSU Dublin
• Only one OSU location can be submitted at a time
• Ohio fingerprinting must be completed urgently after booking
• Strict compliance deadline: Tuesday before start
• Former OSU employees must be away from the facility for at least 6 months before taking a travel assignment
• Current OSU employees are not eligible for travel assignments at any OSU hospital
• Education must be from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program
