Requirements

• 2+ years of RN experience
• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience preferred
• Cerner experience – REQUIRED
• CPI or HWC certification – REQUIRED before start (cannot be completed onsite)
• ACLS – Required
• PALS or ENPC – Required
• NIHSS – Required
• No first-time travelers
• Must be comfortable in a fast-paced ED
• Strong critical-thinking and patient/family communication skills
• Experience with strokes, STEMI, and trauma preferred

Unit Details

• 32-bed Emergency Department
• Patient ratio: 1:4–1:5
• Patient population: Birth to death / all ages
• Cerner EMR
• Critical-care equipment
• Travelers may float/help in areas where they are competent
• Weekend rotation required
• Call/push-back hours may occur depending on census

• Level III NICU
• 15-bed surgical suite
• 29-bed inpatient rehabilitation
