• Facility Department/Cost Center: Inpatient Nursing Unit 1
• Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN
• Specialty: Psychiatry
• Shift: 0645P – 0715A
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed
• Call Requirements: N/A
• Required Certifications: BLS, HWC, MANDT, TOVA- certified de-escalation/physical hold training
• Years of Experience: 2+
• Float Requirements: Serves all 3 units; child, adult, geriatric

• Patient Ratios: 1:10
• Equipment: Vitals machine, EKG, Bladder scanner, metal detector, AED
• EHR: Cerner

Population: child, adult, geriatric

Hiring Profile:

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Previous Psych/BH experience.
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: MDD, Bipolar, Psychosis, Schizophrenia, Anxiety, etc.
• Personality Fit: team oriented, flexible, patient centered, self-awareness, kindness

• Required Education: Certification/licensure required to work as an RN in VA.
