Description

Functioning within the Health System’s mission, vision, values, policies and procedures, the Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients on his/her shift. RN responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care using age specific criteria utilizing nursing processes. The RN also assists in planning, directing and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries. Coordinates patient care in collaboration with other members of an interdisciplinary team. Educates patient and families and utilizes resources to prepare patients for discharge. Must demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes and be “on call” per department requirements.


 

Submission Requirements

  • 2+ Years of Inpatient Rehab RN Experience - [REQUIRED]
  • Must be able to complete GG scoring for each patient - required
  • Must have excellent “customer service” skills, including the ability to exhibit patience and tact with all constituents, including physicians, patients, and associates. Be cooperative and collaborative, and have the ability to work efficiently while in stressful situations. Must have the ability to apply healthcare principles and practices and use independent judgment. Must have basic computer skills and EMR (electronic medical records) experience.
  • Must float to all units within skill level- Required 

Lima's local traveler policy is to reduce the travel rate by 8%.  Anyone with a permanent address within a 45-mile radius of facility is considered a local traveler.
