🩺 Position Overview

As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients while working collaboratively with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Continuously monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
• Provide nursing interventions, treatments, and therapies within scope of practice.
• Monitor and evaluate patient treatment and care plans.
• Provide patient and family education and health counseling.
• Perform delegated medical functions in accordance with applicable standards.
• Make appropriate patient referrals when additional evaluation or treatment is needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Utilize available clinical resources to support safe, effective patient care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes.
• Follow hospital policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Float to other departments within your competency and qualifications when operationally necessary.

📋 Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ASN/Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program required
• BSN preferred
• Previous RN experience preferred
• Strong critical-care nursing skills and ability to care for high-acuity patients
• Ability to assess patient condition, develop and monitor care plans, and provide appropriate interventions

🎓 Required Certifications

• BLS – American Heart Association
• ACLS
• PALS – AHA
• Active RN license

Additional unit-specific certifications may be preferred or required as applicable.
