CARDIAC CATH LAB TECH – 13-WEEK CONTRACT
Location: Danbury, CT
Pay: $85–$86/hour
Assignment: 13-Week Contract
Shift: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM | 3x12s
Schedule: Variable start times based on department needs
Hours: 36 hours/week
Weekend/Holiday/On-Call: Participation required based on department needs
We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Danbury, CT. The ideal candidate will be a cross-trained Cardiovascular Technologist with advanced experience across EP, Cardiac Catheterization, Neurointerventional, and Structural Heart Labs.
Responsibilities
- Support high-acuity and complex cardiovascular procedures, including emergent and advanced interventional cases
- Scrub electrophysiology procedures including ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and leadless pacing systems
- Scrub diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including PCI and atherectomy
- Support mechanical circulatory devices including Impella, IABP, and temporary pacing
- Assist with neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures, including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions
- Assist with radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the invasive cardiology team
Required Qualifications
- Connecticut Radiographer License with ARRT (R) and/or RCIS certification through CCI
- Minimum 3+ years of Cardiac Cath Lab and/or EP Lab experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Strong experience supporting complex cardiovascular procedures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience scrubbing Structural Heart procedures, including TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, and Watchman
- Experience with EP procedures, including Micra and Aveir leadless pacing systems
- Knowledge of advanced cardiovascular imaging and technologies, including ICE, IVUS, OCT, and 3D mapping systems
- Experience with mechanical circulatory support devices
- For licensed Radiologic Technologists, familiarity with Siemens equipment
- RCIS certification through CCI preferred
Pay: $85–$86/hour
