RN – Day/Nights Shift | Job Summary

• Shift: Days/Nights – 36 or 48 hrs/week
• EPIC: Required
• RN License: Required in the state of practice
• BLS/CPR: Required
• BSN: Preferred
• Acute Care Experience: Preferred
• Holiday: 1 holiday off may be approved; traveler must be willing to work the other holiday

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
• Assess patient needs and develop, implement, and evaluate appropriate nursing care.
• Supervise and direct assigned nursing staff at various levels.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and other healthcare disciplines.
• Monitor patient condition and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status.
• Utilize critical thinking and professional judgment when making patient-care decisions.
• Exercise independent judgment and supervisory discretion in managing patient care.
• Ensure safe, effective, and timely delivery of nursing services.
• Communicate patient information and care needs effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and established standards of care.
