CVOR/OR Scrub Tech | 12-Hour Days 

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of recent scrub tech experience in a hospital OR setting.
• Strong cardiovascular (heart) surgery experience required.
• Proficient in orthopedic, neurosurgery, and robotic procedures, with ability to support a variety of general surgical cases.
• BLS required.
• CST preferred or completion of an approved Surgical Technology program (or equivalent on-the-job training/experience).

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub and assist in surgical procedures while anticipating surgeon and patient needs.
• Prepare cases using surgeon preference cards and maintain updates as needed.
• Ensure accurate instrument, sponge, and sharp counts according to policy.
• Maintain accountability for surgical instruments and trays.
• Document and communicate procedural information and count verification.
• Support patient safety, quality initiatives, staff education, and process improvement efforts.
