Manager interviews

  • About Facility:
    • Hospital Based Home Health department
  • General Information:
    • Minimum Experience: 1 year of Home Health, Med Surg or Hospice experience required
    • Will you accept a first-time traveler?  Yes, with above experience
  • Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
    • Wound, Heart Failure, Diabetes, IV antibiotic administration, Foley Catheter and PICC line maintenance, etc.
  • Required Licensure & Certifications:
    • BLS, NIHSS
    • Valid Driver’s License
  • Skills required:
    • General Medical/Surgical skills
    • ER and ICU experience (preferred but not required)
  • Support within the Department:
    • Educator in the Department
  • Technology/Equipment:
    • EMR: Meditech Home Care
    • IV pumps: depends on the local Infusion Pharmacy
  • Floating: If yes, where?
    • Traveler will travel throughout the 50-mile radius that we cover
  • Orientation:
    • 1 week
  • Scheduling:
    • Weekend rotation: Every other weekend applies, on your weekend to work you will be off Friday and Monday
    • On call? No call
    • Holiday Expectations: Required to work 50% of all holidays
    • RTO: Manager approval
  • Other notes:
    • Scrub Color:  Pewter Gray
    • Parking: Free

Th recruiters are super nice and helpful.

Cons

Lack benefits and perks other companies offer. Was incorrectly paid more than once. The assignment was the worst I’ve experienced from management down to housekeeping. They nitpick travelers on every level and give them double the respiratory therapist to patient ratio with every assignment spread over multiple floors and areas on every side of the facility. Staff makes no attempt at teamwork. Bottom line: Malone is ok🥴 but has MUCH room to improve. Elizabethtown, KY is awful and puts their patients and your license at risk every shift. Don’t do it!
