Client's Rehab services is requesting one (1) Occupational Therapist to support their Acute Care area at the main Galveston Campus. Assignment details are below.
Job Description:
Directs the evaluation, development, coordination, and implementation of physical therapy intervention provided to patients. Serves as a patient advocate assuring the delivery of physical therapy meets legal, ethical, and institutional standards while adhering to the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of the department and the organization.
Assignment length:
- 12 weeks
Shift:
- Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (40 hours)
Location:
- UTMB Main Campus, Galveston Texas
Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited program
- Currently licensed in the State of Texas.
- Minimum 2 years’ Acute Care experience
- BLS thru AHA required
