Location: Inglewood, California

Position Details

Assignment Dates: October 19, 2026 – April 18, 2027
Assignment Length: 26 weeks
Shift: Days – 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Shift Length: 12 hours
Open Positions: 5–6
Guaranteed Hours: No guaranteed hours
Weekend Requirement: Must be available to work weekends

About the Position We are seeking experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurses (RN) for a 26-week per diem assignment on the day shift. The RN will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department while utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and the healthcare team. Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and treatment response. Provide patient and family education as appropriate. Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality. Follow EMTALA requirements and appropriate reporting procedures. Float to other units within the nurse's competency when needed. Maintain accurate patient documentation. Follow hospital policies and professional nursing standards. Requirements Current and valid California RN License Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in an acute-care hospital Emergency Department/ER setting Current BLS – AHA or Red Cross Current ACLS – AHA or Red Cross Current PALS – AHA or Red Cross Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP/DCI) certification Meditech EMR experience Must be willing to work weekends Must be able to float to units within the nurse's competency when needed COVID vaccination preferred Preferred / Additional Certifications NIHSS DCI/BVP EDAP & EDAP II
