Description

Responsibilities

Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures.
Perform stereotactic breast biopsies.
Perform needle localization procedures.
Perform SAVI Scout clip placement.
Operate and perform imaging using Hologic mammography equipment.
Complete approximately 16–20 mammography studies per day, depending on diagnostic and biopsy volume.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records in MEDITECH EMR and Merge PACS.
Provide safe, high-quality patient care while following radiology and mammography protocols.
Work independently in the Mammography department; may float to X-Ray only if requested.
Collaborate with radiologists, supervisors, managers, and other diagnostic imaging staff.
Follow departmental safety, infection-control, and radiation-safety standards.
Participate in department orientation and follow facility policies and procedures.

Requirements ARRT(MG) / ARRT Mammography certification required. ARRT(R) certification required. BLS – AHA required. Oregon Board of Medical Imaging license required. Hologic Mammography experience required. Previous experience performing screening and diagnostic mammograms. Experience with stereotactic biopsy, needle localization, and SAVI Scout procedures preferred/required based on department needs. Must be comfortable working Mammography only, with possible floating to X-Ray. License must be available at submission. BSN not required. Must be available for 40 hours/week. Schedule: Day shift, either 4×10s or 5×8s. No weekends, holidays, call, or standby requirement. Scrubs: Black scrubs; colored undershirts are acceptable. Scrubs are not provided. Must be able to work in an acute-care setting and follow facility-specific policies. Contract length: 13 weeks (91 days). Guaranteed hours: 40 hours/week. Facility may cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment.
