Description
Outpatient Physical Therapist – Travel Contract
Specialty: Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT)
Schedule: 5x8-hour Days, Monday–Friday
Hours: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Guaranteed: 40 hours/week
Contract: 91 weeks
Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
Visits: Approximately 11 patients/day
Charting: Cerner
Scrubs: Ceil Blue
Parking: Free
Experience & License
- 1+ year PT experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- First-time travelers should have acute inpatient experience
- New Mexico PT license required; pending license accepted at submission
- BLS required
- Cerner experience is required

RTO / Schedule
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Block scheduling is not specifically offered; schedule is M–F
- RTO must be provided at submission
- Maximum preferred RTO: 7 days
- No RTO during the first 7 days or on the last day
- One holiday RTO is preferred
- RTO over 7 days requires approval
Compliance
- Compliance should begin within 1–2 weeks of signing
- Documents due 10 days before start
- Drug screen required within 30 days of start
- Most licenses/certifications may pend at submission
- RQI certifications are not accepted
- Modules are completed during orientation and annually
- Up to 6 hours of module time is billable; additional time is non-billable

Important Return / Extension Policy
- Former permanent staff must be separated for 12 months before returning as a traveler
- After 1 year or 4 consecutive contracts, whichever comes first, a 6-month system break is required
