Responsibilities

• Perform vascular ultrasound and diagnostic vascular studies in an acute-care setting.
• Conduct vascular examinations according to physician orders and department protocols.
• Operate and maintain vascular ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Evaluate and document vascular findings accurately for interpretation by the physician/radiologist.
• Perform studies while maintaining patient safety, comfort, privacy, and infection-control standards.
• Review patient history and relevant clinical information before performing examinations.
• Accurately document completed studies in the EPIC charting system.
• Communicate appropriately with physicians and other healthcare team members regarding urgent or significant findings.
• Participate in on-call coverage, including weekends, weekdays, and holidays as scheduled.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and professional standards for vascular imaging.
