🚨 Must-Haves

• Active RN license with no license hits
• 2+ years experience
• Previous travel experience – REQUIRED
• Level I Trauma experience – REQUIRED
• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS
• Epic experience
• Strong adult + pediatric ED experience
• Comfortable floating as needed
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidays

ED Experience

This is a combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department, with patients across:

• Neonates
• Infants
• Pediatrics
• Adolescents
• Adults
• Geriatrics

Approximate volume: 65 visits/day
Rooms: 15

Clinical Skills

Strong candidates should have experience with:

• Adult & pediatric emergency care
• Level I trauma
• Neuro trauma / TBI
• Ortho trauma
• Burns
• Gunshot wounds
• Spinal cord injuries
• STEMI
• Stroke
• Seizures
• Drug overdose / poison ingestion
• Acute psychosis / behavioral emergencies
• Suicidal patients
• Ventilated patients
• BiPAP/CPAP
• Intubation
• Procedural sedation
• IV vasopressors
• Continuous IV sedation/paralytics
• Arterial lines
• Central lines
• Chest tubes
• Blood products
• ABG interpretation
• Dysrhythmia interpretation/management
• Triage
• 12-lead EKG
• Starting/maintaining IVs

Schedule / Holiday Requirements

Shift: 7 PM–7 AM

Holiday: Traveler must work 2 of the 3 holiday bundles:

1. Thanksgiving Day / Black Friday
2. Christmas Eve / Christmas Day
3. New Year's Eve / New Year's Day

If the contract covers only two holiday periods, they must work 1 of 2.

Do not request more than 1 holiday off.

Other Important Requirements

• Tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility
• COVID vaccine required, but medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed
• Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions only
• AHA or ARC certifications accepted
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Modules: approximately 5–6 hours, completed pre-start and billable
• EKG exam may be required within 72 hours of signing
