Position: Registered Nurse – MedSurg Tele

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a MedSurg/Telemetry setting.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered.
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and promptly report abnormal findings or changes in patient status.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care.
• Provide patient and family education regarding medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with hospital standards.
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and quality-care practices.

Requirements

• Active California RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of recent MedSurg/Telemetry experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Telemetry/acute-care nursing experience.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
