• Position: IR Tech / Cath Lab Tech
• Shift: Day – 4×10 hours
• Schedule: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• Contract: 13 weeks / 91 days
• Experience: 2+ years required

• Local rule: 50-mile radius; local candidates generally not accepted under the standard travel rule

Critical Experience Requirement

This candidate must be an IR Tech who ALSO has Cath Lab Tech experience.

A candidate with only IR experience or only Cath Lab experience would not be an ideal fit.

Required Certifications / Credentials

The posting requires:

• BLS
• ACLS
• RCIS OR ARRT
• MD License
• If using ARRT, the system specifically lists ARRT(R).

Pending state license is NOT accepted.

• 4 procedure rooms
• Approximately 280 cases/month
• 8–12 STEMIs/month
• Approximately 8 cases/day
• Adult and geriatric patients
• Procedures include:

  • Pacemakers/ICDs/LINQ
  • Peripheral vascular
  • Pain management
  • Thrombectomy

Equipment:

• Philips & Siemens fluoroscopy suites
• Philips ISVC/PACS
• Philips Xper hemodynamics
• Maquet IABP

Call Requirements

This is a major screening point:

• Approximately 12–13 call days per 6-week period
• Posting also states 7–10 call shifts/month
• Weekday call: 5:30 PM–7:00 AM
• Weekend call: Friday 5:30 PM–Monday 7:00 AM
• Rotating call team
• 4-person STEMI call team
• Candidate must live within 30 minutes of the hospital while on call
• No on-site call accommodation
