Join a Labor & Delivery team in Los Angeles, CA, providing care for both low- and high-risk L&D patients in a hospital setting. This assignment offers a consistent 3x12-hour night schedule, with weekend and on-call responsibilities.

• Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Hours: 36 hours/week
• Weekend: 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights)
• Call: 2 times per month, in addition to scheduled shifts
• Openings: 2
• Setting: Hospital Labor & Delivery
• Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted
• Float: Perinatal

🩺 Your Role

As an L&D RN, you will provide care to low- and high-risk obstetric patients while supporting safe labor, delivery, and surgical procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide care to patients in Labor & Delivery, including low- and high-risk cases.
• Perform and interpret external fetal monitoring.
• Recognize and appropriately respond to abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.
• Assist with labor and delivery management.
• Circulate for C-section procedures.
• Provide care across triage, LDR, OR, NICU, and postpartum areas as required.
• Float to Perinatal when needed.
• Participate in required weekend coverage and on-call assignments.

✅ Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• EPIC experience required.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• NRP certification.
• AWHONN Advanced certification.
• Experience with:
  • External fetal monitoring
  • Recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
  • C-section circulation
  • Labor & Delivery management

⭐ Preferred

• Previous travel nursing experience is not required.
• Experience in both low- and high-risk Labor & Delivery is beneficial.

📋 Important Contract Requirements

• RTO must be submitted with the initial profile.
• Maximum 3 days of RTO.
• No RTO during the first 2 weeks.
• One holiday RTO may be submitted but is not guaranteed.
• Must be willing to work most holidays.
• Once RTO is submitted, dates cannot be changed except to cancel requested time off.
• Must be willing to float to Perinatal.
• RN may be placed on call if not needed for the scheduled shift.
