Schedule: 3 x 12 or 4 x 12 Hours

Shift: Nights

Start Date: ASAP (upcoming orientation dates: 10/19/26, 11/2/26, 11/16/26)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to critically ill, premature, and medically fragile newborns, including continuous monitoring and assessment
Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
Operate and monitor specialized equipment such as incubators, ventilators, infusion pumps, and cardiorespiratory monitors
Perform and respond to emergent situations, including neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
Provide feeding support, including gavage, bottle, and breastfeeding assistance, and monitor growth and nutritional needs
Educate and support families on infant care, and encourage parent bonding and participation in care
Collaborate with physicians, neonatal nurse practitioners, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and carry out care plans
Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record

Required Qualifications

Active Washington or Compact RN license
Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting; 3+ years preferred
Current BLS and NRP certifications
Must be able to pass required background checks and drug screening
