Description

***PRIOR TO SIGNING THE CONTRACT, THE DYS EXAM THROUGH UNA IS REQUIRED AND MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 24-48 HRS**

**THIS POSITION MAY FLOAT BETWEEN SICU (SURGICAL ICU) and TICU (TRAUMA ICU) DEPENDING ON CENSUS. BOTH SETS OF UNIT NOTES ARE BELOW**
- Unit: SICU - St John's ICU - Surgical ICU (background exp needed with surgical patients CEA, fem-pop, EVARs, laparotomies, thoracic surgeries)
- Certs: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, NIHSS. Prefer trauma experience.
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients Postop recoveries - primarily vascular, Fempops, VATs, thoracic, open belly surgeries. CRRT, ECMO. Line placements are common
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: All trauma cases, CRRT, rapid infusers. Line insertions are common.
