Description

Position / Specialty: PEDS Behavioral Health RN
Shift: 4x12 Night (3x12 may be available, if interested)
Ratios: 1:1
Years of experience REQ: Candidates must have at least 2 years PEDS Psych Experience.
First-timers accepted: YES
Weekend: Yes; every other
Certs REQ: BLS, PALS
Pending License Accepted: Yes, Must have WA Temp or Perm License, or Compact license by start.

Special Requirements: Must be comfortable using least restrictive methodologies to manage disruptive behaviors with prevention and de-escalation as priorities. Must be able to initiate and perform physical holds, mechanical restraint, and seclusion as needed for safety if criteria is met. Therapeutic communication skills needed, must be comfortable working with children. Manager is open to considering RNs who have limited pediatric background or behavioral health.
