🏥 What You’ll Do

As an MRI Technologist, you’ll play an important role in delivering safe, high-quality diagnostic imaging while providing an excellent patient experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols.
• Verify patient identification, orders, and exam requirements.
• Properly position patients and demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Select appropriate MRI techniques and protocols in coordination with the radiologist.
• Administer IV contrast when ordered and under appropriate supervision.
• Operate MRI scanners and electronic imaging systems.
• Review, transfer, archive, and manipulate diagnostic images.
• Maintain strict MRI safety practices, including the Four-Zone MRI safety concept and emergency procedures.
• Follow infection-control and sterile techniques.
• Complete accurate documentation and quality-control requirements.
• Identify and report equipment issues or malfunctions when necessary.

✅ What We’re Looking For

Required:

• At least 1 year of MRI experience
• ARRT(MR) or ARRT(R) registration, or qualifying ARMRIT credential
• BLS certification
• Current Utah licensure where required for medication administration

Strongly Preferred:

• 1–2 years of hospital MRI experience
• 6–12 months of acute-care experience
• Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety, protocols, positioning, and image quality
