Description

JD:

Position: Surgical Tech / OR Tech / CST / Scrub Tech
Location: Sioux City, IA
Facility: Level III Trauma Center
Contract: 13 weeks

Schedule

Days, 5×8s, 40 hrs/week
Start around 6:15 AM, may vary by caseload
On-call required
- 8–10 call days per 6-week period after M–F shift
- 4–5 weekend call days/month (Fri–Sun)
- Holidays
OT billable after 40 hrs/week
Holiday/OT: 1.15×
Call-back: 1.5×, 2-hour minimum
Call pay: $9/hr

1 supervisory reference from the last 2 years

Important

No locals: must live 50+ miles from facility based on driver's license.
May float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Must work 2 of 3: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day.
Max 1 day off request during 11/25–11/29 and 12/23–12/27.
EMR: Epic
NBO: 16 hours
Orientation dates: 10/26 or 11/9

This is strictly a Surgical Tech/CST/Scrub Tech travel position, and prior travel OR experience + NBSTSA + AHA BLS/ACLS are hard requirements.
