Surgical Technologist / OR Tech – Contract Opportunity | Bloomington, IL
O.R. Staffing Solutions is looking for an experienced Surgical Technologist / OR Tech to join our team for an outpatient opportunity in Bloomington, IL!
We're a staffing agency that specializes in perioperative services, so we understand the OR, the pace, and the importance of putting the right people in the right environment. We're a smaller, personal team — you'll have a recruiter who knows you and is there to support you throughout your assignment.
The Opportunity
- Location: Bloomington, IL
- Position: Surgical Technologist / OR Tech
- Schedule: 2 days per week, Monday–Thursday
- Optional: Additional 3rd and/or 4th day may be available depending on the facility schedule
- Shift: 10-hour shifts
- Start: ASAP
- Contract: Through November 30, 2026, with potential for extension
- Setting: Outpatient surgery center
- Primarily cataract procedures
- Some retina procedures, although retina experience is not required
- Some blepharoplasty procedures
Equipment & Procedures
- Facility utilizes the Alcon phaco machine
- Uses Alcon preloaded lenses on occasion
- May occasionally need to fold a specialty lens
This is a great opportunity for a CST looking for a part-time contract schedule with the potential for additional hours when available.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of recent Surgical Technologist / Operating Room experience
- Outpatient OR experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Reliable and team-oriented
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
Additional Opportunity – Decatur, IL
We are also looking for CSTs for our Decatur, IL location, approximately one hour south of Bloomington.
- Currently open Mondays only
- Opportunity may be a good fit for a CST looking for an additional day of work
