Position Overview

Providence Covenant Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse for a 26-week travel contract on the night shift.

This position is in a Level IV NICU and is best suited for an RN with at least 2 years of NICU experience. Level III NICU experience is preferred.

The unit cares for neonates with a wide range of conditions, including prematurity, respiratory distress, hypoglycemia, sepsis, HIE, and surgical conditions.
 

Requirements

• 2+ years of NICU experience
• RN experience with a 1:2-4 patient ratio
• Epic experience required
• BLS
• NRP Advanced
• Travel nursing experience is not required

Preferred Experience

• Level III NICU experience preferred
• Level IV NICU experience is preferred
• Experience caring for neonates under 24-28 weeks preferred
• Invasive hemodynamic monitoring preferred

Schedule & Staffing

• Block Scheduling: Required
• Scheduling: Self-scheduling
• Weekends: Required
• Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts during a 6-week scheduling period; coverage may vary based on self-scheduling
• 48-hour schedules: Not approved
• Call: Not required
