REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Minimum 1 year of acute care or Medical-Surgical nursing experience
Previous oncology/chemotherapy experience preferred
Experience administering chemotherapy medications and treatments
Strong critical-thinking, assessment, communication, and patient-care skills
Ability to work independently and respond quickly to changes in patient/unit conditions
Experience with patient education, triage, counseling, supervision, and delegation preferred

BLS
ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Card
Oncology Nursing Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within 3 years of hire
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Continuing education appropriate to skill level and specialty

LICENSE

Current RN license in the State of Oregon
