Travel Speech Language Pathologist | $1787 (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 32.5 hours/week

 

Job Details:
Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) – School
Facility: St. Louis Public Schools
Location: St. Louis, Missouri
Department: K12 – SLP
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6.5 hours/day | 32.5 hours/week
Contract Duration: 41 weeks
Dates: October 19, 2026 – August 1, 2027
Setting: In-Person Only
 

Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly
Orientation Pay: Please note that the pay schedule is bi-weekly and during orientation, you will be paid 50% of your pay rate.

 

Position Overview
We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) to join St. Louis Public Schools for the 2026–2027 school year. The SLP-CF will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide prevention, assessment, and remediation services to students with communication difficulties affecting speech, voice, fluency, and/or language.

 

Qualifications/Initial Requirements
✓ Active Missouri Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
✓ SLP-CF candidates are welcome to apply.
✓ Experience working in a school setting preferred.
✓ Ability to provide speech and language assessment and intervention services.
✓ Strong communication, collaboration, and student-support skills.
✓ Must be available for an in-person assignment.
✓ Must complete standard compliance requirements, including a fingerprint background check.
✓ Experience with SIS and Accelify documentation/billing systems is a plus.
✓ Laptop provided by the school district.

 

Position Responsibilities:
✓ Identify students with communication difficulties.
✓ Conduct speech and language assessments.
✓ Provide prevention and remediation services.
✓ Address communication needs involving speech, voice, fluency, and language.
✓ Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
✓ Support students' participation in the general education curriculum.
✓ Maintain required documentation and billing records.
